September 2010: An aerial view of the NJ Turnpike's 202 contract area. At the center is Bordentown-Chesterfield Road where it crosses over the NJ Turnpike; in the distance Ward Avenue can be seen where it crosses over the NJ Turnpike. The piles for the abutment are already in place. 05/27/2011: Steel beams have been placed on the Bordentown-Chesterfield Road bridge abutments. 09/19/2011: Forms and reinforcement steel has been installed for the deck on the new Bordentown-Chesterfield Road bridge. 3/07/12: The Bordentown-Chesterfield Road bridge with the new deck; the contractor is working on the bridge approaches and will realign Bordentown-Chesterfield Road with the new bridge structure. 10/22/13: The old bridge has been demolished and Bordentown-Chesterfield Road has been realigned with the new bridge structure. 8/18/14: The completed Bordentown-Chesterfield Road bridge. 5/26/10: Aerial view to the west of  Shanahan Lane at Milepost 55.0. A new bridge is being built next to the old bridge. Forms are placed around the column rebar and concrete is poured.  After the concrete hardens, the forms are removed. 5/28/10: After the columns are done, another form is placed on the top to form a cap for Pier #2.  Concrete is poured into that form, and after hardening, the form is stripped away. Concrete is poured into the forms, and the forms are removed once the concrete hardens. 10/22/10: The pier cap form on Pier #1, new Ward Avenue bridge. 10/22/10: The new Ward Avenue bridge over the Turnpike and a view of Pier # 2 with the piles for the east abutment in the background. 11/29/10: The embankment for the east approach for the new Ward Avenue bridge. 1/28/11: Beams for the new bridge at Ward Avenue have been installed. 05/27/2011: The Ward Avenue bridge with steel installed waiting for completion. 09/19/11: The forms and steel reinforcement for the bridge deck have been installed at Ward Avenue. 3/07/12: The bridge deck has been poured, and the contractor is working on the bridge approaches. The freshly paved north and south bound outer roadway can be seen passing under Ward Avenue and ending slightly north of the bridge at Contract 202's northern limits.  Contract 301 is north of this location and will build its section of the outer roadway. In 2014, the new outer roadway lanes will open to traffic. 01/18/13: The old bridge has been demolished and Ward Avenue has been aligned with the new bridge.
